I got my nose pierced here by Luna about a week ago. The piercing itself was fine and she was nice, however the after... care from Twin City was appalling. My nose stud kept falling out and would bleed like crazy everytime I had to put it in, their jewellery infected my nose and three days after getting my piercing it was closed. I went in to get them to try and put it back in or re pierce it but they were rude and didn’t have time to, or told me they’d recharge me for the whole piercing. I ended up going to Resurrection to get my nose re done and they didn’t even charge me. It’s a shame that a business so popular couldn’t take the time to look after a client.read more

i’ve had a few piercings here and they healed alright, but some tattoos i’ve seen done here are sloppy, especially... detailed tattoos! i’ve seen so many copied designs as well. a good tattoo artist should not be happy to copy designs and slap them on a flash sheet. going here just because it’s cheap is a mistake! good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good. i’ve also seen a few people i know get tattoos here and end up going elsewhere to get them fixed or covered. best off going anywhere else.read more

Roughly a week ago, a friend & I decided to get our ears pierced. I've had many issues in the the past with piercings,... so I was a little skeptical. After explaining my past problems with infections by previous piercings, my friend asked if I could get my piercings done with the needle & have sleepers put in right away, as I had always had my piercings done with the gun & studs. The guys were willing to go ahead with this & I couldn't have been more thankful. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel comfortable, despite my nerves. The piercing experience itself, absolute breeze. However, not even a week after, one of my ears had become really swollen & tender. I put it down to new piercings, body getting use to them, no worries, it happens. Bathed it, cleaned it with the solution provided for after care AS WELL AS salt water, at least 2-3 times a day, still no change. After a week & seeing how infected my friends piercing had gotten, I took matters into my own hands. I took the original earrings I had put in during the piercing OUT and replaced them with old sleepers I had & OH MY GOD, the RELIEF!! The original sleepers I had been pierced with were too small for my ears, which I had mentioned & asked if there was a bigger size available, to which I was told no. I can not explain how much pressure has been released now from my ears having the correct piercings in! Both my partner and I struggled to get the original earrings out of my ears due to them being the wrong size. I was also told that because of how many times I had tried to get my ears done previously, we wouldn't want to pierce in the same spot, as it could make the hole split and/or stretch. HOWEVER, looking closely at my piercings now, they have been re-pierced in the EXACT SAME HOLE AGAIN! Not a happy customer.read more

My friend and I went to the shop a week ago to get our ears pierced. The girl that did our piercings were nice but... definitely was the worse experience I’ve ever had and I’ve got 8 piercings. Started when the electric chair they have malfunctioned while I was laying on it, the girl had to unplug the chair to stop it from pretty much squishing me. I had my Industrial done and it was the most excruciatingly painful piercing I’ve ever had. With in a week from day 1 the swelling never went down and just grew to the point that the bar was pushing that much into the flat of my ear it split the skin and got infected. Ended up going to another piercer who told me that it was pierced in the wrong spot of my ear where it never should have been put and the pain I felt while getting it done shouldn’t have been that painful, and that my piercing I paid $83 for had to be taken out. After being told how it should of been done in the first place my confidence in the knowledge of the piercer from twin city is very low, makes me question the actual profession of the shop.read more

I got my belly pierced here, and let’s just say after a few days the ball started sinking into my skin, with following... their aftercare instructions with every little thing it had sunken in to the point I had a big dip and had to go elsewhere to get a larger bar placed in to be told that it was pierced too deep and don’t know if it will heal, 4 month later it had moved to the side and moved down quite a bit although the dip healed from the bar, because it was pierced so deep it migrated and now I’m going to be left with a nasty scar by you guys 😡 I’m really un-happy that you would put in too short of a bar and don’t use good quality jewellery. Got my first tattoo done at the Lavington shop, and they were fantastic. Yet to go back there for a tattoo. Had a few... piercings at the Wodonga shop when I was younger, and they were good. However I recently went to get my lip and nose re-pierced. Nose was fine, but lip was pierced on an angle. Looked fine to start with, but because of the angle, the inside sat off centre, which you could see when I opened my mouth. As it healed, it started to pull to the side. Tried to contact the shop via Facebook (as I often struggle to drop in as I work full time, and thought it would be easier to explain if I sent them a photo). I didn’t ask for a refund, simply advice as to when I would be able to look at getting it re-pierced. Never received a response, so definitely won’t be going back there for a piercing any time soon.read more
